Who We Are

Montessori Education for Life combines the child's natural love of life and learning with a love of work that creates true self-discipline and confidence. Our students graduate with a capacity for critical thinking, independence, and an authentic sense of self, prepared to chart their course into adulthood.

Our Programs

Primary

Ages 3-6

Our Primary program lays the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Through hands-on activities and individualized instruction, children develop essential skills in language, math, and practical life. The prepared environment encourages exploration and discovery, fostering confidence, independence and a respect for their work and others.

Elementary

Ages 6-11

The Elementary program builds on the foundational skills developed in the Primary program. Students engage in interdisciplinary studies, promoting a deep understanding of core subjects. Our curriculum emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking, preparing students for the challenges of the modern world.

Middle School

Ages 11-14

In our Middle School program, students take on more responsibility and independence. The curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire, with a focus on project-based learning, community engagement, and personal growth. Our goal is to help students become thoughtful, compassionate, and active members of their communities.

When you come to our Bright Street campus you are immediately aware that you have entered a magical place - full of life and energy with a clear sense of purpose and commitment to community.”

Fremont Campus

Our urban campus on Bright Street features a welcoming outdoor courtyard, a main building with dedicated spaces for primary and elementary classrooms, and a separate area for our middle school students.

Farm Campus

Our 19-acre farm, nestled in the heart of Vashon Island, serves as an outdoor classroom where students engage in hands-on learning about farm operations and develop valuable outdoor skills. This experience fosters a sense of autonomy and confidence in their abilities.
