Registration for Spring 2010 classes is due by Monday, March 29th.  The following classes are being offered:

Arts and Crafts

Class offered by Kids Are Creative! They hosted the winter sewing class which was a lot of fun. In this class, the students as a group will decide on which project they would like to work on.  They will have several different types of crafts to choose from. If the students decide that they really like the glass etching craft, for example; they will be able to make several projects in this craft if they choose Safety goggles, paint shirts and aprons, and any other necessary equipment will be provided for the craft, if needed.

Improvisational Theater

Tuesdays

We are thrilled to have an Improv class put on by the fantastic improvisational theatre company, Jet City Improv. This class is sure to be a riot. You’ll be thinking on your toes, working as a team, and spending time being funny. A highly trained teaching artist from the Jet City Improv cast will lead the 9 week residency program. We look forward to this great opportunity for our students. Students will invite their family and friends to come and watch!

Spanish Club

Wednesdays

If you like acting and you love speaking Spanish, come and join us on Wednesday for an hour of fun in the after school Spanish class. In this session you can be a forgetful cook, an envied singer or a customer trying a detergent product in front of a life audience. Take a DVD with your performance and that of your classmates at the end of the session and entertain your family for years to come.

Piano Lessons

Seattle’s Music Lessons on Wheels is back! New students will begin with the basics while returning student will pick up where they left off.

In addition to learning basic piano skills, students learn how to read music and will have the opportunity to play duets with each other and with the instructors. Keyboards, headphones, and learning materials are provided. There may be an informal recital on the last day of class.

Tuesdays: Private Lessons for returning private lessons students. Private lessons may be available to others if space is available.

Cost: $35.00 for ½ huor lesson

Ages: Extended Day Primary through Middle School

Time: Arranged by Piano Teacher.

Thursdays: 2 student lessons for new or returning students.
