Community Education

pacific crest school

Pacific Crest School is a partnership between faculty, staff and parents. The success of the children depends upon this partnership.

Because Montessori education is unlike traditional models of education it can sometimes seem confusing for parents as they navigate these important years of their children’s lives.

To support parents on this journey, Pacific Crest provides opportunities for parents to learn more about the philosophy of Montessori education and its practical applications at home and in the classroom. These include parent-teacher conferences in the fall and spring, community education evenings, three or four times during the year, informal discussions and a parent library of readings.

Attendance by parents at the education evenings is one of the commitments that we ask parents to make when they enroll a child at Pacific Crest. All events begin at 7pm. Childcare is provided. The dates for the education evenings this year are:

December 2: Middle School Community Education Evening
Relevance of Media and Today’s Culture. View event details.

December 9: Primary Community Education Evening
