Our Goal: 100% Giving for Our Children!
We ask families to contribute in support of the people, programs and community that make Pacific Crest School unique. 100% participation is expected with each family contributing to the best of their ability. The Campaign’s success helps ensure the continuation of high quality programs today and into the future.
We ask for your pledge by Tuesday, April 3, 2012
and all monetary gifts by Friday, June 1, 2012.
Q: How Much Should I Give?
We ask that each family contribute according to their means. Our goal of $60,000 minimum total represents an average gift of $350 per family, and 100% participation. Donations range from $5 to $5,000. Donations of $1,000 or more are crucial to Pacific Crest’s economic stability.
Q: Why Not Just Raise Tuition?
Pacific Crest strives to maintain moderate tuitions compared to other private schools. Donations also give our parents and supporters the opportunity to make a tax-deductible gift to the school according to their means. (Tax ID# 91-1486734)
A Tradition of Giving
For over 15 years, our annual Giving Campaign has provided an essential contribution to the operating funds of Pacific Crest School. It remains one of the most important sources of income after tuition.
Sustaining Affordability
The Giving Campaign enables us to keep tuition costs affordable for a wider range of families. It also allows us to provide scholarships to families who otherwise could not afford our school’s outstanding programs.
How to Give
This year credit card payments will be accepted, and you can give online! Or you can fill out the school pledge card and return it with your check(s) or selected payment schedule.
In-kind Gifts
We ask that you contribute cash or securities as this is the foundation of our fund-raising. You may contribute shares of stock to the Giving Campaign. If you would like to make such a gift, please contact the school for transfer instructions.
Volunteers
Many families give very generously of their time. This gift of time is invaluable but does not replace necessary financial support.
Corporate Match
Many employers—including Microsoft, Boeing, Adobe and Starbucks—match donations, so be sure to ask your employer if they have a program.
Family and Friends
This is a also a great opportunity to invite grandparents and special friends to make a tax deductible contribution to your child’s education.
Tax Deductible
Gifts to the Giving Campaign are tax deductible as a charitable donation:
